Yes. Teōtl was created with sensitive and reactive skin in mind. Our formulas are built on grass-fed beef tallow, which is bioavailable and highly compatible with the skin’s natural structure. It delivers vitamins A, D, E, and K directly to the skin barrier, helping it repair, protect, and balance without irritation.

To complement the tallow, we use only premium essential oils blended with precision. Each 2 oz jar contains just 1.1 grams of essential oils, carefully measured to remain gentle while still creating a distinct, functional fragrance. This means you experience the ritual and aroma without overwhelming your skin.

Yes. At Teōtl, essential oils are chosen not only for their aroma but also for their function. Each blend is crafted with botanicals known to support the skin as well as the senses.

Among them, vetiver stands out as especially beneficial. Known as the “oil of tranquility,” it helps repair the skin barrier, calm irritation, and lock in moisture, making it an ideal partner to nutrient rich tallow.

Other oils, like sandalwood, further soothe and ground the skin, while clove and bergamot bring natural cleansing and balancing properties. Blended at 1.1 grams per 2 oz jar, these oils remain gentle enough for daily use, while adding a layer of therapeutic benefit beyond fragrance alone.

To keep your Teōtl formulations at their best, store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.

Avoid warm environments such as:

• Near windows or heaters
• Outdoors in direct sun
  

Because we use only natural ingredients, exposure to heat may soften or melt the tallow, which can change the texture. This does not affect the product’s quality, performance, or safety.

If this happens, simply place the jar upright in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes. The product will return to its natural consistency, and the scent will also settle back to the way it was intended. While the finish may look slightly different, the aroma, benefits, and integrity remain completely intact.
